Qualifications

Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Massey University

Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych), Massey University

Approach and specialisation

I provide compassionate and collaborative individual assessment and therapy for adults and older adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges including:

  • Anxiety/stress/worry
  • Depression
  • Life Transitions
  • Grief
  • Issues commonly associated with aging, such as caregiver stress and adjustment to physical illness.

My practice is evidence-based primarily using the principles of CBT, ACT and mindfulness. The first session is typically an assessment to define the difficulties you are facing and develop goals for future therapy. We then work collaboratively to work towards your goals and develop new coping strategies.

I am a registered Neuropsychologist specialising in assessment of mild cognitive impairment and dementia.

I am available for clinical supervision and have specialist knowledge in the assessment and treatment of older adults.
