Professional accountability
How can you be sure you are receiving ethical and effective alcohol and drug treatment?
Augustus Clinic staff are all Registered Practitioners with New Zealand’s regulatory body – the Drug and Alcohol Practitioner’s Association of Aotearoa New Zealand. DAPAANZ sets rigorous standards in which its practitioners must demonstrate competence and be reviewed annually. They also require the practitioner to be accountable to the Association’s Code of Ethics as well as engage in on-going education, supervision and professional skills development.
Making an appointment
Referrals are accepted but not required, simply phone Augustus Clinic on (09) 522-5206 to make an appointment. If there is no one available to take your call immediately, messages are cleared frequently and returned promptly. We request 12 hours’ notice of appointment change or cancellation.
Fees
Assessments and one-on-one counselling are charged by the hour at $180.00 incl. GST payable at the time of appointment by cheque or cash, or in advance by automatic payment.
Confidentiality
All names and information are strictly confidential to Augustus Clinic in accordance with professional codes of practice and the Health Information Privacy Code 1994.
