Background
I am an overseas-trained psychologist who began clinical practice abroad. After moving to New Zealand in 1995, I continued my training and education, and I have been practising as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist here since 1997. I have worked in DHB Community and Inpatient services, and in 2011, I started my private practice. Throughout my extensive career, I have assessed and treated clients with a wide range of clinical presentations and varying levels of complexity.
Qualifications
- MA in Psychology, Belgrade University
- Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Massey University
- Post Graduate Diploma in Neuropsychology, Massey University
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Practitioner
- Additional training includes training and workshops in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Approach
Therapy is guided by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Principles with considerations for the individual’s interests, culture, spirituality and general goals for life.
Work is undertaken collaboratively with clients to set goals, time frames and issues they would like to address. Opportunities are provided to clients to gain control over their lives. There is a regular assessment of therapy goals and review of progress.
Treatment is guided by the latest research, current developments and best practice in Psychological Assessment and Therapy.
Regular consultation with other professionals in the field is undertaken as part of maintaining high standards of practice.

Fees and Cancellations
- Fees are $240 plus GST ($276) for a 50-to-60-minute session
- A different fee structure applies for special services and forensic assessments
- Payment can be made by cash or internet and is required at the time of each session (no EFTPOS or credit card facility is available).
- If you need to cancel an appointment, you will not be charged a fee if you cancel the appointment more than 24 hours before the appointment. A full sessional fee may otherwise be charged.
