Background

Juliet trained at the University of Auckland in the Health Psychology Programme. She has worked in a variety of physical health settings in District Health Boards since 2001 and has provided national leadership on the development of psychosocial support services for people with cancer in New Zealand. She also lectures and supports training Psychologists in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland.

Juliet is a Registered Psychologist under the Psychologist’s Act (1981) and a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.

Approach

Juliet is trained and experienced in a number of different types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy, and works to tailor therapeutic needs and goals to the individual.

Fees

Fees are $180 (including GST) for a 50-60 minute session.

Fee payment is required at the time of the session. Payment is easiest via Internet banking, cash or by cheque. Appointment cancellations need to be at least one day in advance or a cancellation fee of $90 may be charged.
