Background

After completing my doctoral training, I continued my clinical work in private practice for approximately 10 years in the U.S. As part of my clinical training, I have worked in a number of mental health settings serving children, adolescents, and adults. I currently hold a certificate to practice with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.

Therapy Approach

I utilize a psychodynamic approach in conceptualizing therapy, but also collaborate with the client to create a practical approach to meet their psychological needs. Some techniques that I have used include:

Fees

Sessions tend to be 50-55 minutes each. The fee is $180 (GST inclusive) per session. I accept cash or bank transfers (no eftpos) on the day of the session. I require 24 hours notice of cancellation, otherwise a cancellation fee may be charged.
