Background
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist, and a member of the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP). I spend most of my time working on a ward at North Shore Hospital but also have 1.5 days a week working in private practice. I also provide clinical supervision.

Qualifications
BSc (Hons), Psychology
Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych)

Approach and Specialisations
I provide compassionate evidence-based psychology services which include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults and older adults who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties. These difficulties may include (but not limited to):

  1. Depression
  2. Anxiety/Worry/Stress
  3. Panic Attacks
  4. Phobias
  5. Acute and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD)
  6. Loss and Grief
  7. Managing emotional challenges that life sometimes throws our way.
  8. Neuropsychological Assessments

My approach is guided by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based therapy. The first session typically involves an assessment where we work together to define the difficulties you’re facing, and then create goals for treatment. The subsequent sessions involve therapeutic work to achieve these goals.

Fees
Fees are $200 plus GST ($230) for a 55-minute session and are payable by cash or bank transfer within 2 days of your invoice being received. There is no charge if you cancel an appointment 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled time. Otherwise, a 50% fee may apply with cancellations less than 24 hours’ notice, and the full fee may apply for failure to attend with no notice given.
